PURE WATER FROM STREAMS OR RIVERS

A century ago you could drink from most streams and rivers. Their pure water was collected mainly from rain or snow melt. That water and the fact that air was mixed with the streams flow meant the water was safe to drink in remote areas. However, our expanding population and human pollution has changed our waterways from clean to unsafe to drink in most areas.

Our need for clean, pure water has never been greater. Thankfully there are simple techniques for cleaning and testing water from most sources.

Since there are many rivers and streams across our planet, it only makes sense that we start there in our quest for clean water.
